LOS ANGELES, NNC - Los Angeles Clippers guard Lou Williams has led his team to win over Boston Cetics with a score of 140-115 in the NBA match at the Staples Center, California, United States on Tuesday (3/12/2019) Indonesian Western Time.

Williams, who started the match from the bench, ended with a dominant 34 points, five rebounds and five assists after taking 23 minutes 13 seconds, according to the official NBA website.

In addition to Williams, Montrezl Harrell, who also started on the bench, contributed 20 points in the home win, while all of the Clippers' buddies reached two-digit points led by Danilo Gallinari with 25 points.

The same thing happened in the Celtics camp, the supplier of the most numbers came from the bench namely Terry Rozier with 26 points, ahead of Jaylen Brown who scored 22 points and Kyrie Irving from 18 points and 11 assists.

The five-game winning streak strengthens the position of the Clippers who are now up to fifth in the Western Conference standings with a record of 39 wins and 29 defeats (39-29) shifting the San Antonio Spurs (38-29) which today is not flooring.

While the Celtics (41-27) were held in fifth place in the Eastern Conference after a series of three wins they ended in the hands of the Clippers.

The Clippers have the chance to continue their series of victories at home to the Portland Trail Blazers (40-26) on Wednesday (3/13) WIB, while the Celtics have just begun to floor again two days later to start a series of home matches against the Sacramento Kings (33-33).

In a series of other matches that took place Tuesday, the Cleveland Cavaliers managed to win over the guests of the Toronto Raptors with a score of 126-101, the Washington Wizards outperformed Kings 121-115 and the Brooklyn Nets beat the Detroit Pistons 103-75.

Then the Houston Rockets won 118-106 against the Charlotte Hornets and the Oklahoma City Thunder secured a 98-89 victory at the Utah Jazz headquarters.
