Leicester City Owner Confirmed Dead in Helicopter Crash

LONDON, NNC - Leicester City's Thai bos Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was one of five victims killed in a horrific helicopter crash, the club said on Sunday.

“It is with the deepest regret and collective broken heart that we confirm our chairman was among those to have tragically lost their lives on Saturday evening when a helicopter carrying him and four other people crashed outside King Power Stadium. None of the five people on board survived,” the club said.

The Thai businessman is the chairman of Leicester City club and owner of the King Power Stadium.

The helicopter which he was onboard crashed and exploded outside the stadium moments after a Premier League match.

Italian aircraft company Leonardo SpA said that it was ready to help investigate the cause of the AW169 helicopter tragedy, citing Antara.
