Saudi King Express Condolence to Khashoggi Family

JAKARTA, NNC - Saudi King Salman Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulazziz have contacted Jamal Khashoggi's son to express his condolence to the journalist's family, the Saudi News Agency reported Sunday, citing Xinhua.

Jamal's son, Saleh Khashoggi, expressed his gratitude for the condolences from the Royal family.

Jamal Khashoggi, who is the author of a column in the Washington Post newspaper, disappeared since he entered the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey, on October 2.

The Saudi Arabian Kingdom said on Saturday morning that Khashoggi died in a "fight" at the consulate but did not provide a detailed explanation on the cause of his death, the Antara news reported.
