JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Ragunan Wildlife Park Management anticipates a surge in the number of visitors during the 2017 Lebaran (Eid al-Fitr) holidays by increasing the operational hours of the zoo, including adding parking lots.
PR of Ragunan Wildlife Park Wahyudi Bambang in Jakarta, Monday (6/26/2017), said the operational hours of the booth are set earlier to 6 am, compared to normal day at 9 am.
"The counter is open from 6 am to 4 pm. If in afternoon there remain visitors, we will stay open until, at most, 5 pm," said Wahyudi.
For the need of parking of visitors, management of Ragunan Wildlife Park will also take advantage of the streets inside the zoo area as pockets of parking of cars and motorcycles.
He explained that to improve the security and comfort of visitors, the management also increased the number of internal staff of Ragunan Wildlife Park as well as security officers assisted by Indonesian Armed Forces (TNI) and National Police personnel.
The management of the zoo belonging to the Jakarta Provincial Government also provides security posts in strategic locations that can become places for reporting in case there are visitors who lost family members or luggage.
In terms of health services, Ragunan Wildlife Park also alerted medical officers located at a number of health posts. (*)
