JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Politician Ruhut Sitompul is convinced that the Grand Imam of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Habib Rizieq Shihab will be put in the Most Wanted List (DPO), if he does not immediately return and leaves the legal case he faces in Indonesia.

"If he [Rizieq] has legal problem, if he does not come back again, he will be put into DPO. If already [put] in DPO, get ready to come in handcuffed, must be caught, because never ever [someone put in] DPO not get caught," said Ruhut when contacted by Netralnews.com, Saturday (04/29/2017).

According to him, if Habib Rizieq indeed feels not guilty then he must return to Indonesia. Otherwise, he is indeed guilty.

"Choose one, want to go back with handcuffs or elegantly? Yeah surely, if not return would be [put into] DPO, because if the second summoning [concerning pornography case with Firza Husein] is not fulfilled, it [being put into DPO] can happen," he explained.

Even so, for Ruhut, if Habib Rizieq does not return, it does not matter to him. "If he does not come back, it means [he is] guilty, but it is better not to return," he added.

As reported earlier, police are planning to summon again Habib Rizieq to Jakarta Metro Police for examination as a witness to Firza Husein's pornography case in early May.

The police also insist that Habib Rizieq presents in the summoning, because if not present then the police will perform forced pickup. (*)
