President Jokowi Inaugurates New Terminal at Depati Amir AIrport {special)

JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS -- Indonesia President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo, accompanied by First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo, has conducted a working visit to the City of Pangkal Pinang, Bangka Belitung Province (Babel), Thursday (3/14/2019) morning.

Arriving with the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft at Depati Amir Airport, Pangkal Pinang, at around 9:30 a.m. WIB, President Jokowi was welcomed by Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, Governor of Babylon Erzaldi Rosman, and Babel Regional Police Chief Brigadier General Istiono.

Furthermore, the President reviewed the models and information on the construction of airports and special economic zones. In addition, the President also reviewed the passenger waiting room at the airport, and inaugurated the Depati Amir Airport Terminal and the Tanjung Kelayang Special Economic Zone by signing an inscription.

Then, the President and First Lady Iriana and their entourage headed to GOR Sahabudin to hand out certificate of land rights to the people in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.

In addition, the President is also scheduled to hand over the 'Keluarga Harapan' and Non-Cash Food Aid (BPNT) Program to the community in the city of Pangkal Pinang.

Accompanying President Jokowi during the visit included Coordinating Minister for the Economy Darmin Nasution, Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko, Social Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, and Minister of Tourism Arief Yahya.

After a working visit to the Province of Bangka Belitung, President Jokowi and his entourage will depart for North Tapanuli Regency, to North Sumatra Province, on Thursday (3/14) afternoon, to continue the work visit activities.
