Ensuring All Cadres Prepared for 2019 Election, PKS Holds National Level Consolidation

Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) held national level consolidation for 2019 election winning at Hotel Bumi Wiyata, Depok, West Java, Sunday (10/14/2018).

DEPOK, NNC  - Ahead of the 2019 presidential and legislative elections, the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) held a national-level consolidation of the 2019 election winning at Bumi Wiyata Hotel, Depok, West Java, Sunday (10/14/2018).

This consolidation was also attended by a number of PKS officials, such as PKS President Sohibul Iman, PKS Advisory Council Deputy Chairman Hidayat Nur Wahid, PKS Advisory Council member Tifatul Sembiring.

Thousands of participants were coming from the structures of Central Executive Board (DPTP), Regional Executive Board (DPTW), winning teams, legislative candidates and regional heads.

President of the Prosperous Justice Party Sohibul Iman said this consolidation was to ensure the readiness of PKS cadres for the upcoming 2019 presidential election and legislative election.

"With this consolidation all candidates are already in gear 3 and 4 to move because our time is less than 200 days from April, 17 2019," he said.

He said that in this consolidation PKS also provided "motivation for positioning and supporting tools so that our candidates could work effectively."

"We hope that three years ago PKS has became the top party and with this consolidation we can achieve our [future] achievements," he explained.

National Consolidation was attended by more than thousands of participants consisting of the DPTP, all legislative candidates of PKS, regional heads from PKS and winning teams in each electoral district as well as Central and Regional Election Winning Teams.

"This consolidation has also been carried out in the districts but at central level it is this time. We hope and are optimistic that we can achieve victory in each region," he said.

Meanwhile Chairperson of the PKS Central Election Winning Team (TPP) Chairul Anwar said the Consolidation also invited the leader of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Saut Situmorang. The presence of the KPK leadership was not without reason; he hoped the KPK's cooperation with the PKS could reduce the irregularities in corruption.

"We present Mr. Saut to give a super vision because we ask the legislative candidates to sign an integrity pact. The point is that after being elected they do not do KKN [corruption, collusion and nepotism], but from the campaign integrity pact it can also be positive, which does not divide, instead it bring together and does not justify all means," he concluded.
