JAKARTA, NNC - Ministry of Tourism managed to sell 10 leading tourist destinations in Laos and Cambodia with a potential of 1,388 transactions worth US$719,907. This was stated in the Ministry’s data quoted by Antara on Sunday (10/14/2018).
The transaction consists of potential transactions in Laos with as many as 650 transactions or worth US$ 253,890 (the average Laos tourist expenditure is US$ 390.6). The transaction potential in Cambodia is 738 transactions worth US$ 466,017 (Cambodia's average foreign tourist spending is US $ 631.7).
The sales mission activities of 10 top tourist destinations have been held on October 10, 2018 in Vientiane, Laos, and on October 12, 2018 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
The Ministry of Tourism in cooperation with the Indonesian Embassies in Laos and Cambodia, brought together six Indonesian tourism industries from Bali, West Java and Yogyakarta as sellers with 40 buyers in Laos and 45 buyers in Cambodia.
In Laos, the business meeting for this tourist destination sales was also attended by the Indonesian Ambassador to Laos, Pratito Soeharyo, and Deputy Minister of Tourism of Laos Savankhone Razmountry.
