Using Meth, NTT Parliament Member Named as Suspect

JAKARTA, NNC - A member of the Southwest Sumba Parliament, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), with the initials OH who was caught using methamphetamine (meth) in a hotel in the Mangga Besar area, Taman Sari, West Jakarta has been named a suspect.

"OH was arrested at one of the hotels in the Tamansari area, West Jakarta related to Operation Nila, Monday (9/24/2018) night," said Police spokesperson Senior Commissioner Argo Yuwono at Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters, Wednesday (9/26).

He said OH consumed meth and from his hand the police confiscated 0.27 grams of meth and a mobile phone unit. According to Argo, OH came to Jakarta for official purpose.

"At the moment the concerned is still being examined for development," Argo added.

Previously reported, the police arrested a parliament member of Southwest Sumbawa Regency (SBD), NTT, who has the initials OH, Monday (09/24) night, related to drug abuse case.

OH, who came from the Democratic Party, was arrested while indulging the meth with his girlfriend, with the initials HH, in a hotel in the Mangga Besar area, West Jakarta.
