JAKARTA, NNC - The case of Richard Muljadi, grandson of conglomerate Kartini Muljadi who was involved in the possession of cocain, was transferred to the Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office on Monday, Sept 3.
"Yes, Richard Muljadi's case file has been submitted (stage 1) to the Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office," Jakarta Metro Police Public Relations Division Chief, Senior Commissioner Argo, said at the Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters on Monday, Sept 3.
Argo said Richard's case file was handed over by investigators of the Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Division Sub-directorate to the prosecutor's office this afternoon. "At 11:30 a.m., the case file was handed over," he added.
Richard Muljadi was arrested after using cocaine in a small room in a restaurant in SCBD area, South Jakarta, at 1:00 a.m., Wednesday, Aug 22.
Police seized several evidence including one black iPhone X smartphone, on which the screen had white powder suspected of cocaine residue, and a piece of 5 Australian dollar, which also contained white powder believed to be the leftover of cocaine. The total evidence confiscated reaches 0.038 grams.
The cocaine was allegedly a gift from the perpetrator with the initials ML. ML instructed his men to deliver cocaine as a wedding gift for Richard.
