Richard Muljadi, grandson of conglomerate Kartini Muljadi is suspected to have been consuming cocaine for a long time.

JAKARTA, NNC - Richard Muljadi, grandson of conglomerate Kartini Muljadi is suspected to have been consuming cocaine for a long time. This was known from Richard's confession to the police.

"It has been more than a year," said Director of Narcotics Investigation of the Jakarta Police, Senior Commissioner of Police Suwondo Nainggolan in Jakarta, Friday (8/24/2018).

However, the police is not taking Richard's confession without investigation. To confirm Richard's confession, the police will conduct further examination.

"Investigators must have data and other evidence to prove the confession," he said.

Therefore, the police will wait for the results of the examination related to how long Richard has used cocaine. It was suspected that Richard had only been using cocaine.

"Urine results state only one type of drug," he added.

Upon his arrest on Wednesday (8/22/2018), the police confiscated evidence in the form of a black iPhone X cellphone, on which the screen had white powder suspected of residual cocaine, and a piece of five Australian dollar banknotes, which also contained suspicious white powder.

The cocaine was allegedly a gift from the perpetrator with the initials ML. ML asked another person to send the cocaine as a wedding gift to Richard.
