JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM – Listed construction company Acset Indonusa (ACST.JK) has obtained net profit of IDR64.2 billion in the first semester of 2017, or a growth of 95.7 percent from IDR32.8 billion in the same period last year.
The net profit hike is sustained by revenues which rose 8.04 percent to IDR1.02 trillion from IDR943.7 billion in the same period in 2016.
Until now, from the new contract target of IDR7.5 trillion in 2017, Acset has secured IDR7.14 trillion or equivalent to 95.2 percent of the total target that has been determined.
Maria Cesilia Hapsari, Corporate Secretary & Investor Relations Officer of Acset Indonusa, said revenues in the first half of 2017 were dominated by construction sector which reaches 60 percent. The rest, from infrastructure sector 32 percent, foundation 7 percent, and others 1 percent.
"Other portion of income represents the subsidiary's business in the field of trade," she said in a written statement on Wednesday (07/26/2017).
Maria added that after being trusted to work on the Jakarta-Cikampek II Layang Toll project, the company also secured work on the JORR II Toll Road project of Kunciran-Serpong. This demonstrates the active participation in infrastructure, in line with 2017 business strategy.
Throughout the first six months of 2017, the company has secured strategic contracts such as Jakarta-Cikampek II Toll Road, Bakauheni-Sidomulyo Toll, JORR II Toll Road Kunciran-Serpong, Soil Improvement Works in Batang (Central Java), Mixed-Use Development At Kebon Sirih and Bored-Pile St. Regis.
"Revenue in this period is mainly supported by infrastructure projects that have begun to enter the stage of workmanship," he concluded.
