JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM – Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Indonesia (MMKI), the brand holder for Mitsubishi in Indonesia, targets manufacturing 80,000 units of the latest variant of Mitsubishi’s small MPV per year at its new factory in Cikarang, West Java.
The factory is also expected to manufacture Pajero Sports and L300 commercial vehicles.
Irwan Kuncoro, Director of Sales and Marketing at MMKI, says the company allocates 60,000 units of Small MPV for the domestic market, and 20,000 units for export.
However, he could not disclose the Small MPV’s sales target. The new variant will begin its debut globally in the exhibition Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show 2017.
At the exhibition, Mitsubishi will announce the Small MPV’s name, official price and detail specifications of the seven passenger MPV.
"Regarding the sales target, we will tell you later in GIIAS, with a capacity of 60 thousand a year of course we will maximize and will increase, because we are still at the initial capacity," said Irwan.
