Indonesia Finance Minister Sri Mulyani (special)

JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM -- Indonesia Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani claims the political year would not affect Indonesia's economic stability. Moreover, during this time the Finance MInistry still maintains a good foundation.

"We know that the 1999 and 2014 elections were safe which ultimately gave a stronger foundation for democracy. I want to make sure you don't have to worry about how you organize this election, because it will not be different," said Sri Mulyani during a speaker program at Fitch and Ratings at Mandarin Oriental, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (03/20/2019).

Sri Mulyani added that the difference in the presidential election this time was followed by the central and regional legislatures.

"So that it will be quite interesting because support is not only done for the president but also for parliamentarians," he explained.

She also added that the newly elected leader would be committed to strive for reform so that this was good for Indonesia.

"We want a government that is always committed to development programs, then to reform. And good for Indonesia, because we are talking about reform in this country," she said firmly.
