JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS - In 2019, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) or IPC targets revenues of IDR13.5 trillion with current year's profit of IDR2.61 trillion.

"We expect business revenues or revenue in 2019 to reach IDR 13.5 trillion or grow 18 percent compared to the previous year amounting to IDR 11.44 trillion," IPC President Director Elvyn G Masassya said on Monday (3/18/2019).

He explained that for the current year's profit it is targeted to reach Rp2.61 trillion or grow 7.41 percent compared to 2018, which reached Rp2.43 trillion.

While earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) in 2019 were targeted at IDR 5.18 trillion or grew 24.2 percent compared to 2018 of IDR 4.17 trillion.

"And (the target) operating expenses for operating income or BOPO is 68.08 percent," Elvyn said.

The 2019 BOPO target fell 2.6 percent compared to BOPO in the previous year which reached 69.9 percent and in 2017 amounted to 70.15 percent.

To achieve this target, according to the Director of IPC, his party has prepared an organic growth and anorganic growth strategy.

"Organic growth is the optimization of the use of our assets, increasing productivity by 25 percent," Elvyn said.

He also added that for anorganic growth, it would manage a small port owned by the Ministry of Transportation and IPC had also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PT Pertamina (Persero) to explore the terminals previously managed by Pertamina.

For the operational target to be achieved by the BUMN this year, the flow of container and non-container goods amounted to 8 million TEUs and 73.27 million tons respectively.

Then, the targeted vessel flow reaches 235 million gross tonnage (GT) and 568.9 thousand passengers.
