JAKARTA, NNC - State-owned pawning company PT Pegadaian (Persero) will continue to increase its Ultra Micro Credit distribution (Kreasi UMi) in an effort to help the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that have never received a bank credit facility (unbankable) through people's small business loans. The Kreasi UMi program that has been distributed in Gorontalo and Kendari have reached IDR2.845 billion, consisting of IDR1.898 billion in Gorontalo, and IDR947 million in Kendari.

Director of Pegadaian for Marketing and Product Development, Harianto Widodo said that the distribution of Kreasi UMi was given to MSMEs in Bonebolango Regency in the amount of IDR191 million for 27 debtors, 24 Debtor Bowalemo Districts or IDR153 million, Gorontalo District 198 debtors or IDR1,384 billion, North Gorontalo District 12 debtor or IDR 88 million, and Pahuwanto Regency 12 debtors or IDR 82 million.

"Pegadaian will continue to support the government's program to develop MSMEs through Kreasi UMi. The company will also increase the number of new customers in various regions with a maximum of micro credit of IDR10 million per customer," Harianto explained in a press release on Wednesday (03/06/2019).

Harianto handed over Kreasi UMi during Dialogue with UMi Debtor witnessed by President Jokowi in Gorontalo. He explained that the provision of loans in monthly installments given to MSMEs is a business development with a Fiduciary system.

Kreasi UMi focuses on providing trusted solutions to get credit facilities that are fast, easy and inexpensive. This can be seen from the provision of a very flexible loan period, with a choice of 12, 18, 24 and 36 months.
"The credit process only requires 3 days, and the funds can be disbursed immediately. If the capital lease (interest on the loan) is relatively cheap with fixed installments per month," he added.
