JAKARTA, NNC - Citi Indonesia has started the year by winning, for the 17th consecutive year, The Asset magazine’s Triple-A Award in the “Best Bank – Global” category in Indonesia. In addition, Citi Indonesia also received the magazine’s award in the "Best Bond Adviser-Global" category in Indonesia for the second time. Citi Indonesia Chief Executive Officer Batara Sianturi said on Wednesday (01/30/2019) that “We are very pleased to receive these awards from the Asset magazine. Once again, it signifies the trust and commitment that have been given to us by our customers. These awards will motivate us to strengthen Citi's position in Indonesia as a global bank that operates in more than 160 countries and jurisdictions with innovative banking products and high-quality human resources.”
The Asset's annual Triple-A Country Awards is a prestigious award for the banking, financial, treasury and capital market industries. The evaluation and judging were carried using a methodology and approach that involved the Asset’s editorial team and Benchmark Surveys conducted by the magazine to determine the best institution and individual operating in Asia. The Asset noted that, "Citi received the award because of its strong Corporate and Consumer Banking business lines, as well as Citi’s global scale network.”
"This award is presented to all Citi Indonesia employees, business partners, customers and stakeholders for their long-standing trust and cooperation. Hopefully Citi can always be a trusted banking partner in Indonesia," Batara concluded.
