JCI Opens Stronger to Level 6,200 at Weekend Trading

The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) of Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) opened higher to level 6,200.3 during weekend trading on Friday (12/28/2018).

JAKARTA, NNC - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) of Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) opened higher to level 6,200.3 during weekend trading on Friday (12/28/2018).

At 9:03 JATS, a total of 169 stocks recorded price increases, 77 stocks fell, and 121 others stagnated.

Stock trading volume reached 1.18 billion units, transaction frequency was 36,620 times, and transaction value was around IDR520.33 billion. Foreign investors recorded net purchases of IDR14.4 billion across the market.

Meanwhile, the sectoral index which rose the most was the infrastructure sector by 0.4 percent and followed by the agriculture sector growing 0.34 percent. The industry sector declined the most down at 0.14 percent.

IDX:INTD shares rose the highest by 34.8 percent to IDR240, followed by IDX:PEHA, which rose 24.8 percent to IDR2,810, and IDX:HDFA rose 24.5 percent to IDR284 per share.

Meanwhile, shares of IDX:TIRA declined the most, namely 20.5 percent to IDR224, and followed by IDX:TFCO which fell 18.9 percent to IDR600, and IDX:MRAT weakened 15.5 percent to IDR141 per share.
