JAKARTA, NNC - Indonesia Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut B Pandjaitan says that in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 as it is today, all parties-especially the state apparatus-are required to work in a directed, integrated, and synchronized manner.

"Don't always talk about conflict, what matters is how we build teamwork, be open minded, open heart, open will, and how we synergize these. In this 4.0 era we have to be wise and smart. Sometimes the leader feels high, now he can't," Luhut told the media crew after opening the Seminar on Strengthening the Capacity of Indonesian Leaders to Face the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, in Jakarta, Monday (12/03/2018 )

He added, in the future the program such as training to face the era of industrial revolution 4.0 will be carried out more massively, and not only from ministries/institutions, but will embrace various parties including among political parties and non-governmental organizations.

"We invite leading academics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Such programs have been made in Singapore and China and several other countries to deal with revolution 4.0 earlier, this will equate our mindset. Lemhanas and Kemenristek Dikti will be appointed as leaders in this program, "said Luhut in his written statement.

Luhut also stated that President Joko Widodo had also launched an increase in the quality of Indonesia's human resources through quality education.

"The President has launched the best Indonesian children to be schooled at top universities, for example from the civil servants now, there are also many of the best, now they are schooled to top universities, but the open heart, open mind, and open will were very important reinforced. There must be an ecosystem as well after they come home from their studies, no longer what next, "he said.

At the same place, Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Mohamad Nasir explained, that his party would reform the education system at the Higher Education Institution , which had been assessed as a shortage.

"We will make changes on a large scale, including the mindset in universities and colleges which has been confined to one campus so that later they can open up and be able to see the world, about how to progress and see ourselves as what we are. So we can see what opportunity is and continue to look forward, and how we see that cohesiveness must be built together for the progress of the nation and the state, "he explained.

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 was the 4th industrial revolution beginning with the internet revolution in the 90s, which was rapidly expanding, so that the internet was used in all fields,
