JAKARTA NNC - Bank Mandiri has completed the bond issuance process in the scheme of I Phase III - 2018 Sustainable Public Offering (PUB) worth IDR3 trillion with an 8.50 percent coupon and a five-year tenor after officially registering the bonds on the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Monday (9/24/2018).
Bank Mandiri Treasury and Institutional Banking Director, Darmawan Junaidi said in this transaction, the company received requests of up to IDR4,092 trillion or oversubscribed by 1.36 times.
"This shows that investor perceptions of Bank Mandiri's overall performance are still positive," Darmawan said.
Darmawan added, all proceeds from the issuance of the bonds will be used by the company for credit expansion in the context of business development.
In this corporate action, Bank Mandiri appointed six underwriting companies namely Mandiri Sekuritas, Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia, BCA Sekuritas, BNI Sekuritas, Danareksa Sekuritas, and Bahana Sekuritas.
This issuance is part of Bank Mandiri PUB I with a total size of IDR14 trillion. In 2016 and 2017, the company issued bonds amounting to IDR5 trillion and IDR6 trillion through Bank Mandiri Phase I and Phase II of PUB I.
