JCI Increases 28 Points at End of Session I, Foreign Net Sells IDR281 Billion


JAKARTA, NNC - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (JCI) closed up 28.14 points (+ 0.46 percent) to 6,093.4 at this weekend's session I trading on Friday (8/10/2018).

A total of 205 stocks strengthened, 139 stocks weakened and 121 others did not change prices.

Throughout the session, the JCI moved in the range of 6,081.09 to 6,107.69. Stock trading volume reached 3.97 billion shares, transaction frequency 191,191 times, and trading value was around IDR3.22 trillion. Foreign investors recorded net sell of IDR281.83 billion in all markets.

Most of the sectoral indexes rose, led by the property sector which rose 1.1 percent, followed by the financial sector up 0.85 percent, and the consumer sector rose 0.53 percent. The agriculture sector dropped the deepest with 1.49 percent.

IDX:FILM shares rose the most (top gainer) by 24.48 percent to IDR610 per share, followed by IDX:YPAS up 23.8 percent to IDR910 per share, and IDX:MYTX rose 21.25 percent to IDR194 per share.

Meanwhile, the top losers were IDX:TFCO dropped 22.66 percent to IDR580 per share, followed by IDX:RIGS down 9.24 percent to IDR432 per share, and IDX:SIPD down 6.69 percent to IDR1,115 per share.
