Mitsubishi Motors Has New Strategy to Face 2018 Market

JAKARTA, NNC - PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) successfully increased its market share in the passenger and light commercial segments in 2017, one of them through the presence Mitsubishi Xpander.

It also refers through Gaikindo's retail sales data of 2017, as Mitsubishi managed to record an increase of 48 percent from the previous year sales of Pajero Sport and the contribution of Mitsubishi Xpander.

And through sales and after sales network of 112 dealers across Indonesia, MMKSI also raised its sales target in 2018 from 80 thousand vehicles to 140 thousand vehicles.

"The year 2017 was a memorable year for Mitsubishi Motor in Indonesia, because Mitsubishi Xpander could be accepted by the community and also we managed to develop a network of dealers throughout Indonesia," said President Director MMKSI, Kyoya Kondo in his official statement on Tuesday (2/20/2018 ).

In a positive response to Mitsubishi Xpander, MMKSI also announced that it is continuing to increase its production capacity in their factory located in GIIC Deltamas Industry, Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, West Java, which is able to reach seven thousand units every month.

In addition to the completion of its factory in 2018, Mitsubishi Indonesia has also plans to expand its network and prepare several new products to meet the needs of the Indonesian community, namely Pajero Sport Limited Edition and new Triton Athlete Variant.
