SEMARANG, NETRALNEWS.COM - The PP Properti (PPRO) is developing The Alton Apartment, apartments for students which strategically located in the campus area of Tembalang, Semarang, Central Java.
Having previously signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Universitas Indonesia Alumni Association (ILUNI UI), the PPRO now partners with the Diponegoro University Alumni Association (IKA Undip).
Through Dipa Karya Sejahtera, 678 units are bought up by IKA Undip with the support of Bank BTN.
"The increase in bulk selling transactions suggests the high market confidence in our products," said Taufik Hidayat, President Director of PPRO, Tuesday (10/17/2017), in a written statement.
The Alton Apartment consists of three towers located on an area of 1.3 ha, exactly 200 meters away from the main gate of Diponegoro University in Tembalang. The project has sold 1,704 units out of 1,982 units launched.
The Alton Apartment as an educational apartment is targeting the needs of students around Tembalang. The company carries out a ground breaking procession for the construction of the apartment today.
According to Taufik, in developing student apartments around the campus area, PPRO does not only build but also supports government programs for the prevention of drug abuse in the community, especially among the young people which realized by applying the concept of drug free apartment and officially cooperating with National Narcotics Agency.
PPRO also cooperates with Gramedia in co-branding the e-library so that the residents of the apartment, with mostly students, are free to download the e-books.
"Along with the development of technology and to facilitate the needs of consumers, we are trying to continue improving the facilities, one of them is digital book," he said.
He added that some other university alumni associations are also in the process of reviewing to buy PPRO apartments in big bulk selling. With the bulk selling transaction, the company is optimistic that this year's performance target will be achieved.
Up to the third quarter of 2017, the company's sales projection has reached around IDR2.33 trillion, growing 60 percent from the same period last year, while net profit projection up to the third quarter of this year amounted to IDR275 billion.
"The 2017 marketing projection is around IDR3 trillion with net profit of IDR425 billion to IDR435 billion," he concluded.
