Fourth Day of Indonesia Trade Expo Sees Commerce Contracts of IDR3 Tln

SERPONG, NETRALNEWS.COM - On the fourth day of the 2017 Trade Indonesia Expo TEI 2017, the purchasing mission has successfully booked trade contract of US $7.6 million or equivalent to IDR101.1 billion.

The signing of the purchase mission contract took place on Saturday (10/14/2017) at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD, Bumi Serpong Damai City, South Tangerang, Banten. The contract signing was witnessed by Arlinda Director General of National Export Development at the Ministry of Commerce.

"A total of four trade contracts were signed during this session between 4 importers from 2 countries, Belgium and Holland with 4 Indonesian exporters. The total value of today's contracts reached US $7.6 million," she said.

In addition, MoU has been signed between Surveyor Indonesia and House of Indonesia Pty. Ltd. as a form of support from the Ministry of Trade and Surveyor Indonesia as a SOE, with House of Indonesia in Sydney Australia. This is also one of the efforts to guarantee the quality of Indonesian export products to the Australian market.

Arlinda explained that Belgian importers buy seafood products worth $52.5 million; furniture worth $2.5 million, and wood plastic composite products worth $2.5 million. Meanwhile, Dutch importers bought custom made guitars worth $100,000.

"From the results of the purchase mission today, the total mission of purchase for 4 days of implementation of TEI 2017 has reached the results of US $228 million, equivalent to IDR3 trillion," she explained.

Meanwhile, the signing of the first day of trading contract (Wednesday, 11/10) recorded a value of $16 million, on the second day (Thursday, 12/10) of $154.7 million, as well as on the third day (Friday, 13/10) amounting to $49.6 million.
