Sanchez: I am Still Confident in My Abilities (independent)

MANCHESTER, NETRALNEWS.COM - Manchester United winger Alexis Sanchez insists he still hasn't run out even though he hasn't been able to give the best performance with Manchester United. Sanchez, who was again sidelined with a knee injury, has only scored five goals in 41 matches since leaving Arsenal to join Old Trafford.

The injury came as the 30-year-old began to show a slight increase in performance under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but the Chilean reiterated his desire to prove himself.

"I want to continue to show my love for football. I know what I can do. I am confident in my own abilities, "Sanchez told Inside United, quoted by The Guardian on Wednesday (03/20/2019).

"United are a very important club, not only in England but also at the global level and I want to help win the trophy for supporters."

"Obviously, I want to make United supporters really happy. I want to score. I want to give them happiness. I want to win the trophy."

"When we lost last year's FA Cup final to Chelsea, I was not happy. Not happy at all. I was sad because I just wanted to make our supporters extraordinarily happy," he added.

"When I was young, I liked United. Really. I really like United and I want to show and bring joy to the fans, I want to win."
