MILAN, NETRALNEWS - Inter Milan are reportedly busy looking for a new striker. That is because they will most likely be left behind by their flagship striker Mauro Icardi next season. As a substitute, I Nerazzuri is targeting AS Roma striker Edin Dzeko.

Icardi's future at Inter began to be questioned after the Argentine striker lost the captain's armband. Until now, he is still put on the bench by coach Luciano Spaletti.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter seem to be ready to lose Icardi this summer even though the player is still bound by a contract until 2021. Not surprisingly, they are now starting to rummage in search of a replacement.

Edin Dzeko is called the main game. The Nerazzurri said he had quietly contacted the player's agent.

Inter haven't talked to Roma as the club that owns Dzeko. But Roma will not refuse to release the 33-year-old striker if priced at over 30 million euros.

Dzeko was recruited by Roma from Manchester City in 2015. So far, the Bosnia & Herzegovina striker has scored 85 goals in 169 appearances in all competitions. This season, Dzeko is still a mainstay on the front line I Lupi. Dzeko scored 12 goals in 30 appearances in all competitions.

The arrival of Dzeko will guarantee that the Inter front line will not lose spurs, even though they are only temporary due to their retirement age.
