LONDON, NNC - Manchester City wing striker, Riyad Mahrez celebrated his goal against the Tottenham Hotspur to commemorate the late Leicester City owne,r Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.
Mahrez looked up and lifted his two index fingers into the air shortly after scoring the only winning goal against Tottenham at Wembley Stadium, London, England, Tuesday (10/30/2018).
"He was a special person for me. I spent four and a half years there," Mahrez said after the match as reported by City's official Twitter account @ManCity.
Vichai was one of five victims killed in the crash of a helicopter in the parking area of King Power Stadium, Leicester, England, on Sunday (10/28) local time.
"I have many memories about him. He was a good person, a good human being," Mahrez said as quoted from Antara.
Vichai bought Leicester in 2010 and under his ownership The Foxes successfully won the English League in 2016.
