LONDON, NNC - Chelsea's Eden Hazard has expressed his appreciation to Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho and said the Portuguese coach was the only coach he wanted to work together again.
The Belgian star played under Mourinho at Stamford Bridge for more than two years and was an integral part of Chelsea's Premier League title win in 2014-15.
However, the following season was marred by poor performances and reports of friction between certain squad members and Mourinho, who left a joint agreement in December 2015.
Hazard, who will face his former manager when Chelsea host Manchester United in the league next Saturday, admitted he made a good start to his hopes.
"In 12 years I have only had one bad season, the last six months under Mourinho and that was part of my mistake. After the title, we asked Mourinho for an extra vacation. I was completely formless again," Hazard told Belgian newspaper HLN.
Hazard described the last season under Mourinho as a nightmare. "We did not win, we got some kind of routine training, training without having fun, it's better for all parties that the collaboration ended," he said.
"If I now ask for a coach who want to work with me again, I would ask for Mourinho."
