MANCHESTER, NNC – Manchester United (MU) team was asked to keep Paul Pogba for the next season. The statement was conveyed by former MU striker, Dimitar Berbatov.

Dimitar Berbatov said Paul Pogba will shine next season with Manchester United because he has just won the 2018 World Cup. Berba also believes that Pogba will play a central role in the success of the red devil next season.

As is known, Paul Pogba continues to get criticism after returning to strengthen MU in 2016 from Juventus. Many parties criticized his game which was considered inconsistent in the two years he was defending Manchester United.

But this summer Pogba managed to silence the critics. He appeared dominant in the midfield of the French national team so he successfully secured their second World Cup trophy.

"Based on my experience, everything will be easier for Pogba next season because he has good confidence after winning the World Cup," Berbatov told Betfair.

Berbatov said that the French national team's victory at the World Cup would provide good momentum for Paul Pogba next season.

"When he is on the pitch, he will feel everything is going well for him, starting with every bait and tackle he releases. That will give him good momentum in the English Premier League, but he must remain strong," Berbatov added.

Paul Pogba himself is likely to miss Manchester United's inaugural match in the Premier League this weekend because he is still on vacation.
