MOSCOW, NNC – Croatian national team will face England in the semifinals of the 2018 World Cup in Luzhniki Stadium on Thursday (7/12/2018) early morning GMT with no fear, said striker, Mario Mandzukic.
Mandzukic and his team mates have just matched the Croatian record at the 1998 World Cup. If they can win over England, this year's Croatia will be considered the best team, better than the national team during Zvonimir Boban and his friends’ era.
"Of course when the game begins there will be pressure, but we are currently really enjoying our presence in the semifinals," said Mandzukic as quoted from the Mirror.
Although England have a better history in the World Cup, Croatia currently has players who are more experienced than the ranks of England’s young players.
"I agree that Croatia have more experienced players. That will help us but I think the chances remain 50-50. I believe both teams are worthy of entering the semi-finals,” he said.
