BOLOGNA, NNC – Ducati team rider, Andrea Dovizioso is accepting his fate in the 2018 MotoGP race, after he admitted the dominance of Marc Marquez.
Although it has only been five series, Marc Marquez has already showing the potential to defend the MotoGP title. Marquez currently has a significant advantage over its rivals.
In the early stages of the series, many predicts that the competition will be fierce this season. That's after Andrea Dovizioso controlled MotoGP in Qatar. After that, LCR Honda rider, Cal Crutchlow emerged victorious in Argentine MotoGP. However, there is no more fierce competition seen in the next three races.
Incidentally, those three races were dominated by Marquez in Austin, Spain, and the latest is France.
"Marquez is very strong on all fronts and in some ways superior to others, for example, he is the only one who often avoids falling and the only rider who falls so much in training, but little in the race,” Dovi said, quoted by Tuttomotoriweb.
Marquez now tops the standings with a collection of 95 points from five series. Its closest competitor is Maverick Vinales who are 36 points adrift. To overcome that great distance, his rivals certainly hope Marquez will not do so well in the 14 remaining series.
Next race would be the Italian MotoGP at Mugello Circuit, Sunday (6/3/2018).
