PARIS, NNC - Unai Emery will certainly leave Paris Saint Germain (PSG) in the summer. The Spaniard coach claims he has not had a new club yet, but he opens all the opportunities including Arsenal.
Emery's position at PSG will be filled by former Borossia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel. The club decided to appoint Tuchel to meet the ambitions of becoming Champions League champions.
Emery is now widely linked with Arsenal, which at the end of this season was left by the manager Arsene Wenger. Incidentally, Arsenal until now has not given a signal about who will replace the man who has served the Arsenal for 22 years.
However, Emery claimed to date he has not received any offer from the Gunners.
"There is no offer to me. The possibility remains open, it can be concrete or not. I am open to everything. I do not think to stop coaching," he said as quoted from Four Four Two.
Emery's career at PSG is not really bad. The former Sevilla coach managed to win all the domestic trophies in the French League. PSG is interested in bringing Emery because of his slick performances while coaching Sevilla by winning three cups of Europa League in a row in 2013/2014, 2014-2015, and 2015/2016.
However, the statistics did not apply because during his two years coaching at PSG, he always stuck in the round of 16. PSG last season was eliminated by Barcelona with a 5-6 slim aggregate, but they already won 4-0 in the first leg. This season, PSG again bites its fingers for being defeated by Real Madrid in the round of 16 with a 5-2 aggregate.
