MotoGP Rider Expresses Condolences for Surabaya Bombings

Jorge Lorenzo expresses his condolences to Indonesia.

JAKARTA, NNC – MotoGP riders extend their sympathy regarding the bombings that took place in Indonesia. 

One of them is the 2017 world champion, Marc Marquez. He expressed his condolences  on the bombings in Surabaya and Sidoarjo in his twitter account.

Stay safe, stay strong Surabaya. #prayforSurabaya #prayforIndonesia #Indonesia," Marquez tweeted.

Marquez is one of the MotoGP riders who often visit Indonesia. The last time the Spanish rider visited Indonesia was in February 2018 with teammate Dani Pedrosa.

Another Ducati rider who also often visits Indonesia, Jorge Lorenzo, also expressed his sympathy for Indonesia.

Lorenzo uploaded an image of various symbols of the house of worships with the writing 'Pray for Indonesia’.

East Java Police said the number of deaths in the terror attacks in Surabaya and Sidoarjo that occurred in the last two days has amounted to 25 people.
