BOLOGNA, NNC – Ducati team rider Jorge Lorenzo claims he is now a better racer than when he became world champion in 2015 with Yamaha.
Jorge Lorenzo also believes, with Ducati him will continue to grow until he is a champion of MotoGP.
Lorenzo won the MotoGP world champion in 2015. After that Lorenzo's performance declined with Yamaha in 2016. After switching to Ducati, Lorenzo only finished in seventh rank in 2017.
"To be honest, I feel that this time I have become a better rider than after becoming world champion two years ago."
"I ride a different motorcycle by understanding the positive and negative side.Slowly, I can utilize the maximum ability of this bike, although I feel there is still a great distance to improve my ability," said Lorenzo as quoted from Motorsport.
The Spaniard claims that Ducati is in a good position ahead of the 2018 season.
"Six wins earned by Andrea Dovizioso and a good performance in the second half of the season are two indications that we are ready to fight for the world title since the start of the season," said Lorenzo.
