Liverpool: We are Not Afraid to Face Any Team in Champions League

LIVERPOOL, NETRALNEWS.COM – Liverpool claims that they are not afraid to face any team in the round of last 16 of the Champion’s League. The teams include defending champion Real Madrid.

The statement was delivered directly by the manager, Juergen Klopp. According to Klopp, Liverpool have prepared themselves to face any team.

In the last 16 of the Champions League candidates against Liverpool are Basel, Bayern Munchen, Juventus, Shakhtar, Porto and Real Madrid.

Liverpool had just secured themselves advanced to the knockout phase of the Champions League after defeating Spartak Moscow with a striking score 7-0 in Group E final match at Anfield Stadium on Thursday (12/07/2017) early morning.

The hosts immediately lead 3-0 in the first round. Philippe Coutinho scored twice in the fourth and 15th minutes, plus a Roberto Firmino goal in the 19th minute.

In the second half, four additional goals obtained Liverpool. Four goals were printed Sadio Mane in the 47th minute and 76, Coutinho (50 '), and Mohamed Salah (86').

"I do not mind who our opponents are - usually I always get Real Madrid, so let's see, we do not have the preferred opponents but it's really nice to be back in the knockout round after so long I like this kind of news," Klopp as reported by Soccerway.

Positive results make Liverpool gain 12 points and claim the first rank in the final standings of Group E. They accompanied Sevilla who inhabit second place with eight points.
