MOTEGI, NETRALNEWS.COM – Movistar Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi says he is full of optimism when stepping into the Japanese GP this weekend. Althoughstill not feeling well, Rossi says his condition is much better.
As a result, Rossi is eager to erase the bad record of competing on Twin Ring Motegi circuit on Sunday (10/15/2017).
"My leg feels much better, I can rest longer, it's very important because after Aragon I still feel sick."
"My legs are better, I still feel the pain but I think I can still ride a bike. My feet feel better than when racing at Aragon," said Rossi as reported by Crash.net.
Racing at Motegi is not very friendly with the owner of the nine world championship title. Since the Japanese GP race switched from Suzuka Circuit to Motegi Circuit in 2004, only in 2008 Rossi became the fastest.
Last year Rossi failed to finish at Motegi due to an accident on the sixth lap in a wet track conditions.
