Jorge Lorenzo Eyes Fastest Time at Motegi

MOTEGI, NETRALNEWS.COM – Senior Ducati rider Jorge Lorenzo has targeted to become the fastest ever in the MotoGP race this season into the 15th series, in the Japanese Grand Prix at Twin Ring Motegi this weekend.

The success in securing third place in the 14th series in Aragon, 24 September, has added the confidence of the 30-year-old rider.

Last year, Lorenzo started the race from the front row. However, after Lorenzo slipped, he unable to finish the race. Now, the three-time MotoGP world champion (2010, 2012, and 2015) is determined to snatch the title for the first time this season.

"The success of reaching the podium at Aragon is very important for the team. Because, it is a proof of our progress goes in the right direction, "said Lorenzo.

"Now, the season is entering the final part, where the three series (Japanese GP, Australian GP, and GP Malaysia) are held in a row (three consecutive weeks). And, my target remains the same, struggling to reach the podium and even won the title of the first time series with Ducati, "said Lorenzo

Furthermore, armed with record and characteristics of Motegi circuit, Lorenzo expressed his belief would be able to achieve positive results.
