JAKARTA, NNC - Via Vallen, a rising dangdut singer, often shop through e-commerce when she doesn't have time to shop. The products she shops don’t seem to be from well-known brands.
"Brands are not important, the important thing is that they match and fit me. And also original, not fake," said Via, who has just become Shopee's brand ambassador, during an event in Jakarta on Thursday (8/23/2018).
The items she looks for are usually related to her needs as a public figure, ranging from clothing, shoes to accessories.
"If it's suitable for me, I would buy it regardless of how cheap it is. I once bought earrings on discount for IDR4,000," Via said.
Even though she is now well known, Via is not ashamed to admit she often looks for discounted items. She also claims that he is not a fan of branded goods.
"There are times when I buy branded goods, but, I am not a fan," Via said, reported by Antara.
Via Vallen, with singer Rizky Febian are Shopee's latest brand ambassadors, along with Prilly Latuconsina and Maxime Bouttier, thanks to their popularity and achievements that are considered to represent the millennial generation.
