JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - A study in 2008 found that 90 percent of women prefer tall men. However another research shows that shorter men may be the answer to women’s plea all over the world: to have a husband who would help around the house.
National Bureau of Economic Research in 2014 shows shorter men do more housework than their higher peers.
The research says that men with height under 170 cm (five feet six inches) perform housework (cleaning, dishwashing, etc.) for eight hours 28 minutes per week. Meanwhile, men standing over 180 cm (five feet and nine inches) only complete as much as 7 hours 30 minutes per week of housework.
The other interesting result is the finding that couple whose men are shorter than their wives have lower divorce rate, 32 percent lower. So, ladies, open your heart and date shorter men.
