SpaceX to Fly Passenger Around the Moon

BFR Rocket

JAKARTA, NNC - Space transportation provider SpaceX said it had signed a contract with a passenger who would fly around the moon with its spacecraft.

"Find out who's flying and why on Monday, September 17," SpaceX owner Elon Musk tweeted last Thursday, Sept 9.

SpaceX was founded by Musk in 2002 to develop cargo carrier rocket to space at a cost far cheaper than its competitors.

In 2012, the company successfully flew cargo to ISS, an international space station, and carry it back to earth.

Big Falcon Rocket (BFR) is the future project of SpaceX. This will be the world's largest rocket capable of transporting cargos and humans to space starting in 2020, said Antara.
