30-Minutes Jog, Cheap and Easy Way to Stay Healthy

JAKARTA, NNC - An unhealthy lifestyle is the main cause of the emergence of various non-communicable diseases (PTM), such as diabetes. However, non-communicable diseases can actually be prevented by controlling various risk factors, one of which is performing routine physical activity.

Dr. Grace Joselini of the Indonesian Women's 2018 Asian Games National Team presents tips for maintaining health and avoiding disease.

"Spending a minimum of 30 minutes per day doing moderate intensity physical activities can help maintain health in general. As a first step, do basic sports such as brisk walking, jogging, and running can be the right choice," she said.

According to him, besides being easy to do, running in particular is also beneficial to increase stamina, reduce the risk of developing diseases, increase metabolism, to help release endorphins, which makes us feeling more relaxed.
