JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM – National Police (Polri) Anti-Terrorism Detachment 88 team has secured an assembled bomb from two suspected terrorists arrested in Bima, West Nusa Tenggara. The bomb is similar to the bomb used in the terror incident in Kampung Melayu, East Jakarta, some time ago.

Polri has ensures there is no connection between suspected terrorists who were arrested in Bima with the suicide bombing in Kampung Melayu.

"The Evidence is similar to the one in Kampung Melayu. The type is the same, as JAD group is affiliated with ISIS," said Polri’s Head of Public Relations Division Inspector General Setyo Wasisto in his statement on Sunday (6/18).

Even so, he confirmed, the group of suspected terrorists arrested in Bima is not associated with Kampung Melayu bomber group. There are also evidences seized from suspected terrorists in Bima this is a ready-made homemade bomb and some other items.

Currently two suspected terrorists and evidence are being examined at Brimob headquarters in Bima. "It is still being investigated, it is a network of JAD Bima. We obtained a report from the community," he said.

From Densus 88 search results, two suspected terrorists were arrested. The evidence secured from the two suspected terrorists was a type with the bomb used in the Kampung Melayu incident at the end of May.

"Evidence there is Acetone, H2 O3, TATP, samurai sword, air rifle, bayonet, mobile phone, laptop, and flash," he said.

The two suspects arrested by Detachment 88 have initials NH and K. Both were arrested on Saturday (17/06/2017). They plan to bomb the Wahom Police in Bima. "If their move was not uncovered last night, they would already have bombed the police in Bima,” Setyo added.
