President Jokowi visits Tana Toraja today

MAKALE, TANA TORAJA, NNC - President Joko Widodo visited Tana Toraja District in South Sulawesi to attend a series of activities in the area.

Deputy of Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Bey Machmudin in South Sulawesi on Sunday, Dec 23, says President Jokowi will be attending a series of activities in the northern part of the province.

Besides Tana Toraja, president Joko Widodo is also scheduled to attend several agendas in Banggai District, Central Sulawesi Province.

Using the Air Force CN-295 aircraft, President Jokowi and his entourage left Sultan Hasanuddin Airport, Makassar City, to Lagaligo-Bua Airport, Luwu District at 7:50 a.m.

The president then traveled to Tana Toraja District with a Super Puma helicopter owned by the Indonesian Air Force.

In the afternoon, the president Jokowi will head to Banggai District, Central Sulawesi, to inaugurate a new airport and terminal at the Syukuran Aminuddin Amir Airport.

The president's entourage includes Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi, Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko, President's Special Staff Coordinator Teten Masduki.

Also, Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, President's Military Secretary Major General Trisno Hendradi, President's Special Staff Adita Irawati, and Secret Service Commander Brigadier General Maruli Simanjuntak, citing to Antara.
