JAKARTA, NNC - Three hackers from the Surabaya Black Hat (SBH) group, including KPS (21), ATP (21), and NA (21) recently arrested by police in Surabaya, East Java, have hacked online systems in 44 countries.
"In total there are 44 countries and it is likely to increase, this is still under investigation," said Head of Sub-Directorate of Cyber Crime of Directorate of Special Crime Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) at Jakarta Metro Police Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Roberto Pasaribu at Jakarta Metro Police, Tuesday (3/13/2018).
According to him, the perpetrators who are students work by using SQL Injection method to destroy databases. The disclosure of the actions of these perpetrators was from the FBI informing there are dozens of systems destroyed in various countries.
"We are cooperating and getting that information. We analyze for up to two months based on information from the FBI," said Roberto.
In the development, it turns out not only 600 websites which are hacked, but there are as many as 3,000 IT systems that became the target of hacking by these perpetrators.
