JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - Jakarta Corruption Court (Tipikor) again held a trial of corruption case for the procurement of electronic identity card or e-KTP on Monday (10/9/2017).
In the trial, prosecutors for Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) presents Golkar Party Faction Chairman Setya Novanto as a witness to suspect Andi Narogong or Andi Agustinus.
In addition to Novanto, also present as witness was the Minister of Home Affairs, Gamawan Fauzi. Gamawan and Novanto were allegedly involved in the corruption that resulted in losses of IDR2.3 trillion.
According to Samsul Huda, Andi Narogong's lawyer, the indictment showed that both allegedly benefited from the e-KTP project.
In addition, the prosecutor also presented Director of Astragraphia, Yusuf Darwin Salim, the former Head of Legal Affairs Bureau, Zudan Arief Fakhruloh, staff of Government Goods/Service Procurement Agency (LKPP), Setya Budi Arijanta, a civil servant at the Foreign Ministry's Communication Center, Kristian Ibrahim Moekmin, and former Vice Chairman of Commission II of the House who is now Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo.
In this case, Andi Narogong was charged for state loss of IDR2.3 trillion in the e-KTP project.
According to prosecutors, Andi was allegedly involved in bribery related to the process of e-KTP project budgeting in the House of Representatives, for the fiscal year of 2011-2013.
In addition, Andi allegedly played a role in directing and winning the PNRI Consortium to be the executor of the e-KTP procurement project.
