MALANG, NETRALNEWS.COM - Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators ransacked the Batu Resort Police, East Java, on Thursday (9/28/2017). It remains unknown whether the searches accompanied by the examination is related to the case of Batu Mayor Eddy Rumpoko.
The KPK investigation team came to Batu Resort Police by using the same car used for visiting Eddy's office in Among Tani Hall some time ago.
Also accompanying KPK were several Regional Apparatus Working Unit (SKPD), such as Head of Education Office Dra Mistin, Head of Regional Finance Agency Zadim Efficiency, Head of Environment Office Arief As Siddiq, Personal Secretary of Batu Mayor Lilla Widya.
KPK has been in Batu Resort Police since last day. However, when reporters asked for confirmation, one KPK member in Batu Police said he did not count amount of people being examined.
"I do not count how many are being examined," said one of the KPK members when they were about to enter the Batu Police.
Until this news is reported there has been no official statement submitted by the KPK in Jakarta.
Previously, the anti-graft commission determined the Mayor of Batu Eddy Rumpoko as a suspect in the alleged bribery case related to the capital expenditure of Batu City Administration.
Investigators suspected Eddy has received a fee of IDR500 million from the total capital expenditure budget of IDR5.26 billion. This was said by KPK Deputy Chairman Laode M Syarif at KPK Building, Sunday (9/17).
