JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - PT Panin Asset Management says the amount of Assets under Management (AUMs) reaches IDR9.9 trillion by the end of February 2017. Most of the funds managed by the company are equity funds.
"Our AUMs are more in equity funds. Perhaps the portion around 70-80 percent is in equity funds," said Rudiyanto, Director of Panin Asset Management in Jakarta, Monday (3/20/2017).
He said that the company is targeting the amount of AUM by the end of 2017 to rise by about 30 percent to 40 percent to around IDR13-14 trillion.
"Some institutional clients who once sold mutual funds at the end of last year, we hope to go back again so they can add to assets under management," he said.
The investment management company also expected a blessing from the rise in the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI). The positive performance of the index will be directly proportional to the increase in the number of company’s AUMs.
In addition, the company also continued to intensify efforts to increase the number of individual customers by launching several programs for these clients.
"The combination of these two things is expected to increase the amount of assets under management," he concluded. (*)
