BENGKULU, NETRALNEWS -- Eko Putro Sandjojo, Indonesia Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration, has conveyed a number of ways Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) can compete with large producers. In competing with large products, Mendes said rural MSMEs could use Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) and the Rural Product Superior Product program (Prukades).

This statement was conveyed by Mendes because rural MSMEs are currently considered difficult to obtain markets. The difficulty of MSMEs to compete in large markets is due to the lack of infrastructure and access to technology, and limited resources to compete with products with large labels.

Therefore, through the use of BUMDes and Prukades, later it will be able to provide many opportunities for MSMEs to compete with large producers.

"MSMEs when competing with large products must be difficult. Difficult to find access, also do not have the same ability as large companies. Because the market market is expensive. Likewise, in terms of access to MSME technology also does not have," said Mendes Ministry of Foreign Affairs PDTT on Monday (3/18/2019).

The statement was delivered by Mendes while having a dialogue with a number of MSME entrepreneurs in the Bengkulu Province in the Bengkulu City Fair in the City of Bengkulu on Friday (3/15/2019).

According to Mendes, Bengkulu has the potential of a creative economy and a large MSME. Besides the market, according to him, MSMEs also need the availability of infrastructure to facilitate the production and access process.

"In Bengkulu, there are many human resources. The land is fertile, but there are problems in infrastructure. In order for MSMEs to work, we must help Bengkulu Province to seize infrastructure programs at the center," said Mendes Eko.

Regarding the development of MSMEs, Mendes advised Bengkulu MSMEs to make associations involving all MSMEs in Bengkulu Province. If it has been formed, he will bring the association to meet with the Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs.

"Later, I will meet with the Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs. There will also be guidance. Now in this industrial revolution, we are also collaborating with Bukalapak and others. We can channel these MSMEs," he said.
