Pertamina Strengthens Synergy with INALUM, AP I, and GIA (special)

JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS -- State-owned energy company PT Pertamina (Persero) has strengthened its strategic partnerships for operational activities and business development of companies with a number of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN).

The SOEs include companies incorporated in the BUMN Mining Industry Holdings (Inalum, Bukit Asam, Aneka Tambang, and Timah), airport management companies (Angkasa Pura I and Angkasa Pura II) and Garuda Indonesia

The commitment is contained in the Strategic Cooperation Agreement on Refined Oil Prices, signed by Pertamina's Corporate Marketing Director Basuki Trikora Putra and Director of Inalum Strategic Services Ogi Prastomiyono, Antam Tatang Hendra's Marketing Director, Niaga Proof Director Adib Ubaidillah, Director of Human Resources & General Tin Muhammad Rizki. The signing was witnessed by BUMN Minister Rini Soemarno at the Ministry of BUMN Office on Thursday (03/14/2019).

Pertamina's Managing Director Nicke Widyawati explained, through this collaboration Pertamina would provide the best service in supplying fuel for these companies.

"With a complete and quality product variant and comprehensive services through Vendor Held Stock (VHS) and Franco services, Pertamina has experienced supplying the fuel needs of many companies in Indonesia. Therefore, we are grateful for the trust of these companies and at the same time become a real proof of the synergy of BUMN, "he said.

Nicke added that the cooperation agreement with the BUMN Mining holding was valid for 5 years for Biosolar and Marine Fuel Oil 180 (MFO 180) as many as 25,000 KL / month and would increase to 40,000 KL / month.

Responding to this collaboration, INALUM's Strategic Service Director, Ogi Prastomiyono, said that the synergy with Pertamina was carried out in line with Inalum's business plan which continues to drive the company's efficiency and productivity both to meet domestic and export needs.

"These efforts are concrete evidence of the ongoing synergy of BUMN between the Mining Industry Holding and Pertamina. INALUM with Pertamina - Together with Mining Holding Members continue to increase production including the downstream mining industry program so that fuel demand will increase. With this collaboration, the company can make efficiencies while at the same time get guaranteed fuel supply in accordance with the required specifications at competitive prices, "said Ogi.

The mining industry is one of the biggest users of fuel oil (BBM). This supports an increase in production in the mining sector which contributes to the national economy, the total fuel consumption of all holding is currently around 25,000 KL per month.

At the same time, a Memorandum of Understanding between BUMN and Pertamina between Angkasa Pura I and Angkasa Pura II was also signed. The agreement was signed by the President Director of PT. Pertamina (Persero) Nicke Widyawati, President Director of PT. Angkasa Pura II (Persero) Muhammad Awaluddin, and President Director of PT Angkasa Pura I, Faik Fahmi.

Through this collaboration, the parties agreed to strengthen the ongoing cooperation through the exploration of new opportunities, such as optimizing the management of Angkasa Pura assets for the development of gas stations or can cover other business fields that each company is trying to do.

"We welcome the collaboration with Pertamina, where this is part of Angkasa Pura II's efforts in developing an inorganic business beside us, and of course also focuses on organic business, namely airport management," said AP II Managing Director Muhammad Awaluddin.

Pertamina continues to establish BUMN Synergy with a number of BUMNs in terms of the use of its products and services. Providing fuel for state-owned companies is also Pertamina's effort to ensure energy availability for the country. Because of this, Pertamina is also present to support the efforts of other SOEs to provide excellent service to the community.

With the same spirit of synergy, Pertamina and Garuda Indonesia also agreed on the Synergy Memorandum of Understanding between the two agencies related to the cooperation of Garuda Indonesia supply in strategic locations. In that case, Pertamina is always committed to supporting the Indonesian Aviation industry in accordance with the principle of growing with customers.
