JCI Gains 0.17 Percent despite Net Sell of IDR690 Billion (valbury)

JAKARTA, NNC - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is closed on a strong uptrend at the end of the week trading on Friday (07/12). The index weakened to 6,108 at the opening of the trade this morning, and managed to rise by 10.8 points (0.17 percent) to 6,126.35 on trade closing.

Throughout the day, the composite index moved in the range of 6,103 to 6,141points. Meanwhile, the LQ45 bluechip index rose 0.06 percent to 977.59.

Today's trading saw 222 stocks gaining price, 177 stocks on the downtrend, and 129 stocks unchanged in terms of price. Trading volume touched 10.9 billion shares, with frequency of 348,687 times, and transaction value of IDR9.45 trillion.

However, foreign investors conducted net sell of IDR690 billion in the regular market. The most widely traded stocks on Friday were TLKM, BBCA, ASII, BBNI, and BBRI.

The majority of sectoral stock indexes recorded an increase, led by the property sector that went up 2.32 percent, and followed by miscellaneous industry sectors which gained 1.38 percent. The financial sector fell the most by 0.58 percent.

Friday's top gainers included SQMI, up 24.6 percent to IDR785, TFCO rose 23.89 to IDR700, and KONI gained 21.51 percent to IDR418 per share.

Meanwhile, the top losers include the stock of NUSA that sank 25 percent to IDR210, YULE down 19.9 percent to IDR173, and BUVA that shed 11.66 percent to IDR212 per share.
